Nordic Eco-label

The Nordic Eco-label on Bambo Nature is your guarantee for an environmentally friendly product.

Being approved for the Nordic Eco-label is a long process that requires a significant amount of documentation. The demands on Eco-labelled products are very high, and everything from how we manufacture our products to what they contain is examined and analysed.

The Nordic Eco-label on the Bambo Nature range is your guarantee that the products are certified to be environment-friendly. Some of the strict requirements that children's products have to fulfil to be eco-labelled are:
 

•  Contain no optical brighteners or perfume
•  A maximum limit for production waste created in the manufacturing process
•  No use of moisturising lotion
•  Must contain renewable raw materials

Asthma and Allergy Denmark

The Asthma-Allergy label by the Danish Allergy Foundation is your guarantee that the product is less likely to cause skin irritation, eczema or allergy.
Products with the Asthma-Allergy mark contain no perfume, no colourants and no parabens. Furthermore, the raw materials and ingredients are carefully evaluated by experienced declaration toxicologists before receiving the Asthma-Allergy label.

FSC® - Forest Stewardship Council - rewarding responsible use of forest products

FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international non-governmental organization dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management worldwide. FSC®-certified products are made from raw materials from well-managed forests and responsible sources. The label’s traceability and integrity are upheld through stringent control measures, and by choosing FSC®-certified products, you help take care of forests and the people and wildlife that call them home.

ECOCERT Cosmos - the mark of environmentally friendly cosmetics

ECOCERT Cosmos, the first certification body for natural and organic cosmetics, ensures that products meet high environmentally friendly standards, straight from ingredients to packaging. Only products with a minimum of 95% naturally sourced ingredients (by weight) are eligible for certification.

Dermatologically tested

 Abena has the products dermatologically tested at independent German institutes, ProDERM (Institute for Applied Dermatological Research) and ATC GmBH (Applied Tox Consult), which certify that the products comply with regulations.
To be classed as Dermatologically Tested, the products must have no negative impact on the skin, with all results being “neutral to the skin”.
Continuous testing by our dedicated R&D team based at our head office in Denmark, as well as searching for new and improved ingredients; using the best nature has to offer, will ensure that Bambo Nature products are always gentle on your child’s skin.

 

EU Ecolabel

The EU Ecolabel, also known as the EU Flower, is the official environmental label in Europe. Products with the EU Ecolabel meet stringent environmental requirements with regards to raw material, production, use, documentation and safety.

 

 

The CE mark

The CE mark is found on many products traded in the European Economic Area. It signifies that the products have been assessed as meeting strict safety, health and environmental requirements. CE stands for Conformité Européenne (European Conformity) and is widely recognised worldwide.

 

 

The EcoSun Pass

The EcoSun Pass is a tool used to evaluate the environmental impact of sunscreen products. To achieve the certification, the combination of sun filters in a product has to adhere to specific parameters in a calculation to ensure minimal harm for the ocean environment. Sunscreens that earn the EcoSun Pass are reef-friendly, meaning they contain only the gentlest chemicals in minimal amounts to avoid harming coral reefs and other marine life.
